We have helped hundreds of parents to navigate the SEND system with confidence.

Our story

Sendeducate CIC was set up in 2023 to offer bespoke, 1:1 alternative educational provision programmes and sessions for children and young people with SEND in the North West. In addition to this, we are passionate about empowering families to navigate the SEND system and have done so since 2014. Our background in Social Welfare Law and Social Policy gives us the expertise to provide advice, guidance and advocacy on SEND matters for children and young people with SEND and their parents/ carers and families in England. We also offer independent welfare rights advice and advocacy, as well as tribunal representation.

Our Fees for alternative provision programmes

We have a set fee structure for our educational programmes, most of which will be commissioned by schools and local authorities for children and young people with Education Health and Care Plans. Parents can also self-fund and book our educational programmes directly.

Our fees for SEND Law advice & advocacy

We are an independent provider of SEND Law advice and advocacy and offer our personalised support to self-funding clients. In most cases our services will be more affordable compared to legal representation, advice and advocacy from commercial law firms. We do offer a reduced fee for low-income households where applicable, subject to proof of benefits. FREE Grant-funded services: We have also been fortunate enough to have received grant funding for the National Lottery Community Fund, which has enabled us to provide means-tested, free services to the community we serve. Our bespoke service is highly personalised, and we are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for your child or young person.

What we do

Alternative educational provision

At Sendeducate we help children and young people who have experienced barriers to learning to grow and thrive and our particular focus is on neurodiversity. While  neurodiverse children and young people with SEND  statistically make up a large proportion of the SEND population, we are inclusive and aim to support all different SEND. We have created a strong network of trusted and experienced educators from the creative industries and equine experts, to deliver bespoke 1:1 sessions in carefully chosen, supportive environments. Our unique approach puts children and young people with additional needs at the centre of their learning journey, through our commitment to facilitate 1:1 sessions that enable individuals to engage with activities that both motivate and challenge. We help young people to experience success, find their strengths, regain confidence and recover a sense of wellbeing.

SEND Law advice & advocacy, welfare rights advice and disability advocacy

We know just how complex the special educational needs system can be, and how frustrating it can be, to be faced with situations were you need expert advice fast, to ensure your child or young person is getting the right support and reasonable adjustments they are legally entitled to. We are here to give you expert, legally-based advice on the different scenarios you may encounter during your  child's educational journey. We are experts in the obligations that schools, teachers and local authorities have to meet to be compliant with current, very robust, special educational  needs and disability rights legislation. We understand that funding constraints can put pressure on schools and local authorities. Book an online or telephone consultation with us to get tailored SEND law advice on your situation. We also provide Welfare Rights Advice and Disability Advocacy.
