As an independent provider of bespoke alternative educational provision delivered on a part-time basis, we are not required to be registered. Nevertheless, we are are committed to voluntarily achieving and adhering to the same DfE requirements currently expected of registered providers. Our learner offer is delivered through our network of experienced, creative and music industry professionals (either at an individual's home or in a professional studio/workshop setting). Additionally we work with an experienced mentor who delivers equine enrichment sessions and learning programmes, at their small scale horse and donkey sanctuary in the Peak District, surrounded by nature and woodland. We also provide special educational needs and disability (SEND) law training and consultancy in England & SEND support training for parents/carers and professionals working with children and young people (CYP) who have, or are suspected of having, special educational needs and/or disabilities. Sendeducate CIC’s work has a particular focus on supporting neurodiverse CYP, including those with autism spectrum disorders and ADHD/ADD. Additionally Sendeducate provides independent SEND law advice, welfare rights advice and advocacy for families of CYP with SEND.
