These are just some examples of the amazing things young people who have enjoyed our jewellery making programmes and sessions have learnt to make. Jewellery making and working with metal teaches highly transferrable skills, including health and safety awareness and working out materials and costings. There are even some hidden maths and science skills involved when it comes to working out material quantities needed, ring sizes, and learning how the different metals react and behave when manipulated. Additionally, wearing something that you have designed and created yourself is always extremely motivating, and our students' talents and creativity is endless! Our head jewellery tutor and her team are highly experienced industry professionals with a wealth of teaching experience. Programmes and sessions take place in her professional and fully equipped workshop studio in Warrington. The studio also hosts our textile design programmes.
